Dec. 25/97 Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Villa Museum
- Constructed in the early 1930s, the Oyamazaki Villa contains many potteries made of the folk craft movement. The founder of this movement, Yanagi Soetsu(1889-1961), believed that the ordinary utensils used in everyday life could be considered object of beauty. Those artists who adhered to Yanagi's philosophy were : Hamada Shoji (1893-1978); Kawai Kanjiro(1890-1966); Bernard Leach(1887-1979)
- The Villa is a ten minute walk from the JR line's Yamazaki station, and is located on the way to Tenno Mountain.
